Description Job Summary:

As a member of the Calpine Energy Solutions Customer Care Department, Billing Associates are responsible for successfully completing daily production goals and adding support elements to the Billing Team. Billing Associates ensure prompt and accurate true-up testing, project upkeep, perform data entry duties for billing team, and assists the current Billing Team as needed; making themselves an essential part of Customer Care Department.

Job Responsibilities:

•Complete daily true-up testing for revised market based charges for historical billing periods
•Meet deadlines and daily goals for regional true-up projects in a timely and accurate manner
•Utilize strong excel skills (shortcuts, functions, formulas) to analyze large amounts of data quickly
•Update the true-up schedules and nuance documents as items are completed
•Participate in weekly true-up meetings, provide feedback, improve processes
•Collaborate daily with the team to complete priorities and any additional assignments or projects
•Complete mass upload requests; complete testing for new applications and automation as needed
•Respond to all action item emails within 30 minutes; maintaining effective working external and internal relationships
•Demonstrate the ability to work independently and maintain flexibility to adapt well to change
•Practice high ethical standards; be accountable for such things as time, communication, statistics, organizational understanding and business knowledge
•Provide back-up support for daily mail responsibilities; monitor mail equipment and report any malfunctions
Requirements •Education Level – four year college degree; Work Experience – 1+ year office experience
•Data Entry and Analytical Skills
•Intermediate Level Excel Skills (Pivot tables, v lookup, formulas)
•Proficient in organizing outlook settings and rules
•Adept with keyboard shortcuts
•Organized and Detailed Oriented, Proactive and Self-Motivated
•Strong Verbal and Written Communication, Bilingual is a plus but not required
